I don’t have an exact answer as to why it was removed/unused, what Jack and Sally’s 4 or 5 skeleton children looked like(or why they say ‘4 or 5′ to begin with), and why it was ever written in the first place. What I know is that Danny Elfman wrote it, it existed in Caroline Thompson’s First Draft dated back in 1991, and that Patrick Stewart narrated it in the Soundtrack(I believe?). I have little knowledge on the Closing’s background. I have no idea why it’s never been talked about - it’s always in those “fun fact” articles and videos about Nightmare, so you’d think the crew would talk about it after these 25+ years. And much like you, I’ve *never* been able to find anything, even to this day. When I started on my TNBC fixation years ago, I searched long and hard trying to find any behind-the-scenes commentary about the Closing/Epilogue.

Do you know if any of the movie makers have ever commented on it? It’s extremely odd to me that they added it to the soundtrack yet nobody who worked on the movie has ever talked about it. Has anyone who worked on the movie commented on the closing epilogue on the soundtrack? I have searched everywhere for any kind of interview or article where someone may have talked about it such as what it was supposed to be or why they removed it, but I cannot find anything.

#ok im sorry but i find cilan to be like a painfully boring character and ive honestly felt that way since i was a kid #ik he has his fans and i can see the appeal in his character but to me his design is so boring his chemistry w the team is boring #and i find the connisseur stuff to be really weird and boring aside from the burgundy stuff which is golden #ive purposely kept quiet abt it bc i dont wanna hate on this character ik a fair amount of ppl like when hes not a bad character #but i gotta say it at least once tbh i just do not care for him and tbh when iris returnedin journeys #i was not really thinking about cilans reaction to her and ash's accomplishments bc hes just not even there for me #tbf brock has this same problem btw.
